They are cleaner than traditional marrow bones, but because they contain bone broth and natural marrow oils, a small amount of residue may occur. We recommend using a washable surface or chew mat.

Our chews are designed for chewing, not full consumption. Your dog can enjoy the chew as they work their way through it, but always remove any remaining piece once it becomes small enough to swallow, as this can present a choking hazard.

1. SOAK
Place the remaining chew in warm water for 10–12 minutes. (Longer soaking is even better.)

2. PREPARE
Remove from the water and place on a microwave-safe plate lined with parchment paper.

3. HEAT
Microwave on high for approximately 60 seconds.

4. WATCH IT PUFF
Microwaves vary. If the chew has not fully expanded, continue heating in 10-second intervals until it has puffed and is dry.

5. COOL & SERVE
Allow the puff to cool completely, then break it into bite-sized pieces appropriate for your dog.
